Hello everyone,

The founder of ~AnathemaArt, a newer anathema community,
was kind enough to point out to me (valhalla-vania) that this community
hasn't had any activity for a long while now. And, although the
administration has been out of my hands since 2006, it makes me feel
bad to see this community die a slowly death. So I contacted
~thesilentenigma, the administrator of fragile-dreams, and he told
me it has become impossible for him to keep up the community.

If there is anyone among you who seriously would like to consider
becoming an administrator, please send me a note @valhalla-vania,
because due to other obligations, I myself cannot always spend
much time here. Please keep in mind that it takes quite some
work to run this community.

I would like to apologize to all of you who have sent notes and
requests to join and only have received an answer today. to give
you an impression of our inactivity: the oldest note dated from
october 2006.. and there were 130 (!) news items!

Meanwhile, a new and very active anathema community has
been founded, and I am sure many of you would like to join!

alright, then :) well, the time when AnathemaArt was the only one working, has come to an end, i suppose... it had to happen sooner or later, huh :giggle: cheers for that :ahoy:

Well, the community is no longer in my hands now, but I do hope it will be revived again. Anathema is such a fantastic band, it is no wonder that so many artists are inspired by them. :heart:

Thanks for your nice words :) Yes, i realize that fragile-dreams probably worked well. And i know that you mean by the club's being too much to handle - i didn't expect AnathemaArt to grow so big either, so since January another person is working with me, especially when it comes to submitting works ;)
Well, are you planning to make fragile-dreams alive again now?

Oh don't worry, I'm not offended. It did work, in the beginning. In fact, it worked so well that it become too much for me to handle, because I had several communities on DA. I did keep the website though, it is still online, but not updated. I only just returned to DA, so I have no idea if it is really dead or not, but I guess you're right. But it's always nice to see more anathema based work. :aww: So good luck with yours!

is it "dead"? well, look at the date of the latest journal entry and at the date of the club's latest submission... if it's alive, people out there are hiding themselves pretty effectively :giggle:

As we all know, Anathema has been having some label problems. This is something unthinkable. How can record companies neglect such a great band?
This year they are releasing 2 albuns: 1 accoustic best of on Peacevile, and 1 original by their own.
As fans, we all should support them.
This is not only for their sake or ours, but for all music masterpieces.

Don't let the music die on you!
